Diana Ferrell has served among women, widows, and orphans in Jinja, Uganda for over 20 years, continuing the ministry started by retired missionary Dorothy Ferris. Now called Compassionate Women’s Initiative (CWI), the ministry has expanded across Uganda, reaching the West Nile, southwestern, and eastern regions.
CWI focuses on sharing Christ and impacting communities through programs like Trauma Healing, which brings emotional healing and opens doors to share the Gospel, and Wise Choices for Life, a reproductive health initiative promoting family planning from a Christian worldview
